I enjoyed my 10 years at Jersey. I really liked the teaching staff such as Ms. Vito, Mr. Naworynski, Ms. Deckert, and for my last year there, Mr. Parker, Ms. Peacock, and Ms. Walkinshaw. I loved having them as my teachers for my last year there. The staff has provided me and other students with many leadership opportunities, such as, Trivia club, Colour Captains, etc., Even though majority of my time there was amazing, there were a few issues I encountered, students with anger Issues have started multiple arguments and physical fights while I was there, with student who were just trying to get through the day. Personally I never got into any fights but I have witnessed a few of them, and it has always been the kid with issues aggravating other students. Moving on from that topic, the fact that there isn’t AC in the halls is crazy, I can’t blame anyone for that but there are actually pictures of students and teachers in the Gym/ Library during the heatwave this year, personally I find it funny. Other than that I had an amazing time here overall and hope students have a similar experience.

P.S. I’m going to miss this school a lot. I feel as if I didn’t Finish my time there.

Good school, good teachers, not so familiar with the admin due to frequent changes that transpires. Pls. install A/C as your students complain of heat every summer. By the way Mr. Lang is a great teacher - my daughter learned a lot in his class in grade 5.

HORRIBLE SCHOOL!! They allow bully to go on, and take the bully's side. Ms Hudson is very rude and unprofessional not to mention the office staff chatting well there supposed to be answering the door for students and picking up the phone. the crossing guard fell asleep well me and my friends were going out for lunch on countless occasions. NOT TO MENTION my brother found a corpse there!! The kids are very rude. I wish I could rate 0 stars there is only about 2 staff there that are good

the school's ok the learning Is alright, And most say it's the teachers fault and stuff, but most students need to grow up, Most teachers maybe even all try to make learning fun! Which to me is good. And it doesn't help that the school board is so strict with this school (Same with most other schools) They bad side to this is the students acting up or behaving poorly, It's a good school, just they think they can help some kids, that they shouldn't there is barely any teacher in this school that truly has that degree (Maybe they do, it's just they don't do it right) but other then the bullying problem, barely enough staff, and many kids behavior are bad. It's a good school just they shouldn't be aloud to have so many kids with issues it sets kids like me back. other then that this schools pretty good.

This school should be renamed the devil's playground!! I had 3 children grow up in that school and all 3 had a very rough time. None of them will send their​ own children to a public school. In GR. 3 my son was saying he didn't want to be alive because of the relentless bully from not just the other students. Save your children and send them anywhere but here. I do need to say there is a handful of good hearted teachers here but not strong enough to stop the abuse they see

This is a great school with quality education.

My only suggestion to Jersey public would be, turn off your volume speaker announcement system or at least lower the range. When students names can be heard more than four blocks away I consider that unacceptable. If my child went to that school and their name could be heard for blocks away I would be very upset.

I mentioned that to this school over 10 years ago and the speaker system is still the same.

This school is horrible. The principal turn over is ridiculous. The teachers do not care. The teachers refuse to do any extras for the students. The teachers and VP and Principal hide from issues thus not to deal with anything or try to work with kids and parents.
Staff leave jk/sk students unsupervised. (I have witnessed this on several occasions)
Teachers are using their phones during class time. (I have witnessed this several times) The office staff are rude and unprofessional.
The bullying is out of control which includes teacher to student bullying and intimidation.
There is no communication between staff and parents.
The kids are behind in reading, writing and math.
This school needs to be investigated.
Please DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD to this school.

the school its self is ok. I’ve been going to Jersey since jk and it hasn’t gotten that much better. I love so many of the staff members but the French teacher doesn’t teach us much.. I would like to be better educated in French because I will need that some day. Bullying isn’t taken very well either. I’ve been in bullying situations and I try my best to help the younger ones too but the staff don’t really care
