I had an incredible experience at It's Cool Idiomas Int.

I attended classes for two months last spring and from day one I had fun while learning a new language from scratch.

On top of grammar and phonetics, my classes included Brazilian history, culture, gastronomy, geography and much more.

Moreover, both my teachers became my friends and I will always be grateful for this amazing experience during my time in São Paulo.

Additionally, extracurricular activities were offered such as visiting the local markets and museums and I was introduced to the ‘Festa Junina’ during a school event.

Without hesitation, I'd recommend It's Cool Idiomas Int. Thank you for making my trip to Brazil truly memorable.

I highly recommend It’s Cool Idiomas! I went to Brazil for a month and wanted to learn Portuguese (I already had a base, since I spoke Spanish beforehand), and so I decided I would do a week-long intensive Portuguese course. Before deciding to go with It’s Cool, I did a lot of research to find the right place for me.

After finding It’s Cool, I wanted to make sure it was the right option, so I contacted Marcos, the director. He was very easy to reach (we spoke over the phone and by email several times before I arrived to Brazil) and very helpful in answering any of my questions. I also really appreciated the school being flexible with my start date and for creating the right course to meet my unique needs.

Regarding my courses, I preferred to have more of a hands-on learning experience, so in addition to learning in the classroom, I went on excursions to different parts of the city with my professors, Maria Inez and Sylvia. That way, I was able to learn about the culture and history of Brazil and Sao Paulo while learning the language.

The school was also very welcoming. It’s in a nice building located in a beautiful part of Sao Paulo (Perdizes, known for its hills), and in addition to Marcos, the administrative staff (Vanusa and Fatima) was incredible. They made me feel like part of their family, giving me additional tips outside of the classroom and getting me to practice my Portuguese with them!

If you’re looking to learn a language in Sao Paulo, It’s Cool Idiomas is your best option and I know that I’ll be back to visit and say hi next time I’m in Sao Paulo.

Took intensive Portuguese classes with It’s Cool for several weeks and they catered my class schedule to what I needed. My prof was amazing and catered classes to my interests and the specific skills I wanted to improve. Also super friendly staff—you will absolutely be sad when saying goodbye, which is a great testament to how much the school cares about you as a student!

Meu nome é Jaime Hernández e eu sou um estudante de pós-graduação na Universidade de Michigan. Eu recebi a bolsa de estudos FLAS para estudar português no Brasil e decidi prosseguir meus estudos, por oito semanas, em It's Cool, escola de idiomas. Esta escola está localizada numa zona tranquila de São Paulo e tem instalações confortáveis e modernas. Além disso, a escola tem uma equipe muito bem preparada e legal para ajudar os estudantes. O diretor, as secretárias e os professores são maravilhosos. Eu adorei ter duas professoras com vasta experiência e bom gosto para o ensino. Com ambas professoras, eu aprendi não só tópicos relacionados com a língua portuguesa, mas elas me ajudaram a conhecer sobre a sociedade e a cultura brasileira. Em minhas aulas eu estudava gramática, pronúncia, praticava leitura em voz alta e escritas, falava sobre questões sociais e culturais, e também fazíamos diversos passeios em diferentes partes de São Paulo. Eu tive uma excelente experiência nesta escola e eu a recomendo muito. Espero voltar a esta instituição no próximo verão para melhorar ainda mais o meu Português. Viva o povo brasileiro!

We had one week of intensive Portuguese lessons in Sao Paulo with It's Cool, and really enjoyed the experience. The staff was super friendly and prompt as was the teacher. They're trustworthy, organized and reliable. Recommend!
