Great art center but par for the course in Florida, it caters to the retired population. The hours the classes are offered are in the middle of a working day so there is limited options for those that work to become involved and take classes. The classes that are offered during non working hours are scarce and the selection is very limited.

A fairly small venue but featured a wide ranging group of art styles. The artists were present, very sociable and interactive. Most pieces were in a moderate price range, which was nice for the average consumer - me! - affording the opportunity to own one of a kind items. I hope this is on-going.

We visited the art center in Englewood on a beautiful sunny day in southwest Florida. We really like Englewood. It is a great escape from the cold Colorado winters. The art center had some good artists and some kinda boring ones. The lighting was good and the pieces were hung at appropriate heights. It is a pretty small place with less than 10 artists in total, each showing several of their works. There were also some class rooms in the back of the building where classes and weekly workshops are held.

The best place to see Art at its finest. And the people are so very friendly. Must see.Atmosphere is learning and beautiful. The art works are colorful and creative, and so many. The only room for improvement is to go more often. Thank You for the experiences .Will be back. Excellent set up, lots of room. But most important, people friendly.

The Art Center was presenting a showing of various photographers work. The works were interesting and varied. The gallery was a warm and friendly venue. The shows change frequently so there's always something new and different.

Very professional staff, always welcoming to visitors and artists. Artists are able to enter their work in juried shows even if they are not members. Good teachers in a variety of mediums from beginner level to experienced students. Englewood Art Center is a division of Ringling College of Art & Design and it shows.
