Had the chance to take the Hydraulic Excavator operator course at OTS Training school. Shortly after I was employed all their programs are geared towards employment. I have the pleasure of training with Dustin and Alex, two of most knowledgable trainers in the industry they covered all the bases and taught me many tips and tricks and also they taught me how to be safe on the job and be confident and operating overall awesome experience I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for heavy equipment training Dustin Alex and Cody are very knowledgable and are very good at what they do.

I took the full meal deal excavator front end loader and backhoe with Alex and Dustin. Awesome teachers with lots of experience. Some of the most helpful teachers I've ever had. They understand how it is being a student in trades and are awesome teachers. Would recommend ots to anyone looking to get into the trade. 10/10

OTS is a great school! Their instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and will help you learn to operate heavy equipment safely. They build your skills with excellent quality advice and equipment exercises. Everything from pre-trip inspections, digging trenches with benches and slopes, counter rotations and my favorite, Road to nowhere. They also teach you to grease and maintain your equipment properly.
Not only the instructors are awesome, so are the students there. I met and acquired some great friends through my time in the course and had a blast when the school does their Skills Competition with the other students.
If you're looking for a great school for entry level operating or to brush up your skills, I highly recommend OTS for your heavy equipment operating needs.

Would recommend OTS to anybody who wants to get into a career operating equipment. You spend 30hrs a week at school in person and those are entirely spent in and around the machine whether that's operating or doing pre and post operating checks/maintenance. On top of that you are given a textbook full of information and an assignment every week that helps cover and expand on the topics you learn in person. Dustin, Alex and Cody are full of information and will do everything possible to help you become a good operator. If they see you're learning quickly they will challenge you with harder tasks and walk you through things when you're struggling. They make it a fun environment to be in. It was hard to even refer to the experience as "school" because I've never been one to wake up and be excited to attend school. Overall it was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone interested, you won't be disappointed!

Operators Training School is an exceptional place to get heavy equipment training. Their instructors and staff exceeded any expectation's I had in regards to going to school for heavy equipment. Giving you a solid foundation on how the machines operate, how to do daily pre-trips, greasing the machines and refuelling them.
With safety being paramount amongst all of their teachings and stressing the importance of why safety protocols regarding heavy equipment are there to keep both the operators and their fellow tradesmen working around them safe and returning home at the end of the day.
Having had the chance to speak with other students from other heavy equipment schools, I have learned that OTS offers the most seat time over the course duration, giving you more hands on knowledge of how to operate the machines.

I had an amazing experience at the operators training school and I would recommend and highly encourage going to get your heavy equipment certification and schooling done at OTS.

Hands down best operating school out there. Just finished my gradall training. There is a reason why they are used for training by most if not all cities and municipalities. Closest training to real life on the job that you will encounter. Lots of space to have multiple machines being used at the same time without getting in your way. This is a family run business who cares a lot for what they do and how they train you. Don Max and Cody and very knowledgeable and experienced. The experience that they have gained shows that they have been operators since a young age and have a lot of real life knowledge to teach and show. I have been out there for bobcat skid steer, backhoe, and gradall training. And looking forward to further training on more heavy equipment.

I recently got certified in operating multiple pieces of equipment through Operators Training School. They have the most amazing staff and instructors who really know what they are doing and work with you to be the best operator you can.

I have just completed the 14 week heavy equipment operator course at OTS. It was amazing from start to finish. The instructors, Dustin and Alex were super informative and in depth about heavy equipment operations as well as how to become a success in the trade. I learned a lot from the school and had a great time while doing so. Highly recommended!!!
