MSSU is an amazing school! I am a returning student and have nothing but great things to say. The staff and faculty are helpful and make anything you have to do so easy you take it for granted. All the professors I had in class have been patient and supportive to all the students. If you try, and want to succeed you will. My advisor has made my experience so much better by listening and directing me to the classes I need but also have an interest in.

Excellent professors that are professionals in their field and are super helpful. Beautiful campus that is gorgeous and peaceful with wonderful local wildlife to see in their natural habitats. Missouri Southern also offers student jobs that are really great because they can help to enhance the learning experience. I highly recommend Missouri Southern for anyone to enjoy a really great 4-year university.

Do NOT live on campus if you ever want to get any work done, at the time of this post (Spring 2018) the internet on campus is the worst internet you will find. Constantly kicks you off and the IT department says there is "nothing they can do."

I wish I could give it more stars because the school itself is amazing in regards to the education and how affordable it is. Better to transfer in as a sophomore so you are not forced to live on campus.

Not friendly to non-traditional students. What I mean is if you have to work and need help most all the professors want you to come in during a time that's not reasonable for you at all. Most of the teachers are older and stuck in the ways of how they learned instead of current applications. They have a 33% graduation rate and many students transfer or drop oit.

It's an ok school. For being a university its cheaper. But alot of staff's attitudes is bad, and when it comes to getting financial aid it seems to be a hassel. Good diverse programs though.

Not friendly to students with disabilities. Disability office inappropriately named student success center. It should be named student don't bother us center. Not a nice environment for disabled students.

Seem to be more into their sports than actual education. Most teachers I had didnt care about any of the students and financial aid is rude.
