Met someone online from this school, his name is osman. He treats me with no respect and only talking a lot of trash. Teach your students to respect each other.

Warning: Full of elitism, hyper-competition, and bigotry. I do not recommend people to come here if you want your child to have a good experience in their youth.
A bunch of kids are forced to come here, often against their will, into a hyper-competitive environment where you will constantly feel inadequate and have imposter syndrome, where the "good" thing about the school is a number that reflects nothing in reality. Difficult work is constantly arriving in waves and only token attention is paid into mental health. There's no actual action being done to balance the extreme competition, or in more popular terms, "grindiness", and this results in constant stress and contributed to the tragedies that other comments have mentioned. Any part of youth that's supposed to be "making memories" or things like that is entirely dismissed for more work. The school atmosphere is very elitist and de-facto separated by "skill" where merely being average will result in feeling constantly inadequate and stressed while the less academically inclined are neglected. The school atmosphere is also quite bigoted despite calls for diversity as racism, sexism, or homophobia can be heard nearly every day around the school. You could face harassment here. Overall, a very poor atmosphere and environment for the average student is provided. I would not recommend people to come.

Spent my entire high school here in the IB program and graduated in 2023, over the time period I led several clubs and was part of the student council. Most teachers are pretty decent, though there are some outstandingly amazing/bad ones as well, your upperclassmen usually know who they are. There is an excellent variety of clubs, but many are IB-dominated and students in the academic stream often get ignored. Most students here are very academically-focused, so if you like party vibes this is not the school for you. My tip for future students coming in would be to get involved and to not be an NPC

Please listen to me when I tell you this school is not good for your children’s mental health. I won’t deny the education is good but with 3 su!cides at my time in this school (things they hide and never mention or talk about) one of these they never addressed and didn’t even give students therapy or anything like it. Not to mention horrible racist, homophobic teachers that created a terrible environment for kids. Racism is rampant in this school and not at all addressed by the staff. Not to mention teachers who had SA cases against them it was not a good environment. If you value your child’s education above their mental health and don’t value them expressing themselves and finding their identity then by all means its a great school.

English department is absolutely horrendous. Why are they sewing in grade 11 English They had to sew clothes for an assignment and it was worth like as much as a huge assignment. Makes no sense. Fix this English department please.
