"Chilliwack Secondary is honestly the most bizarre and disgusting school experience I’ve ever had. It’s like no one has heard of basic hygiene. For starters, the bathrooms are an absolute nightmare—students are literally pooping in the sinks and urinals on a regular basis. It’s not just once or twice either; it’s like a daily thing, and the school administration acts like it’s completely normal. You can’t even wash your hands without feeling like you’re stepping into a health hazard zone. The fact that no one is addressing this is mind-blowing. It's gross, unsanitary, and makes the whole place feel like a joke.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, the teachers are totally out of touch. Instead of focusing on education, they have students busting down to 'Rollie Avalanche' in the middle of class. It’s beyond ridiculous, like they’ve given up on even pretending to run a real school.

Then there’s the Fortnite Club. Not only do they take over the computer lab and make it impossible for anyone else to use it, but these kids haven’t showered in weeks. They just sit there, stinking up the place, adding to the overall grossness of the school. Between the poop-filled sinks, the Fortnite crew who seem allergic to soap, and the teachers who don’t seem to care, Chilliwack Secondary is a disaster from every angle. Avoid it at all costs unless you want to spend your high school years in filth and chaos."

Kelsey Ablitt, she’s an Educator who was once selected for “leader of tomorrow” for some strange reason, & had once said she wanted to devote her life to education. Perhaps she is educating our children but what she is NOT doing is protecting our children. My 7 year old took her reading rangers summer class where despite him communicating bullying issues to her…she continued to allowed my son to be bullied in her classroom until I had to have him literally removed & switched into someone else’s class. Prior to switching him classes, I attempted to explain the bullying issue to her, however, she- in the most unprofessional and disrespectful way told me she “didn’t have time to deal with it” & told me to go talk to someone else about it! You’re a teacher!!!!!! Make time!! Bullying matters!!! When you cannot create an environment in which your students feel safe…. Not only should you not be a teacher…. You shouldn’t be trusted with peoples children AT ALL.

i went to GWG in grade 9 and hated it so i switched to CSS and the staff are all super supportive and seem to care about my problems. Trashy area but the school is the best i’ve been to.

I went to this school for 4 years and recently graduated. It was horrible.

The staff does not care about your feelings, its always dirty in the hallways, and the classrooms are always loud and out of control.
You don't learn anything. I went here for art and even if I followed the assignments perfectly, it wouldn't matter, you'd get judged and often get a C.

Please, if you care about your kids mental wellness or education, send them somewhere else

I've gone to this school for 3 years now. The board members and principles are trashy. The school campus is always a mess. Some teachers look at you and judge you off your clothing so you get in trouble. Or if we're still at the pit, we get in trouble. If you have a bad attendance you get troubled. But if a student says "oh I dont feel safe here" it's like they ignore you completely. They don't care about our well beings. This is just how I feel. My friends all agree on this statement. The seniors of 2023 , I hope that they make it better this year, than the school had been before.

Diverse course options with many opportunities for students interested in band or shop classes. Would be more stars if some of the teachers weren't absolutely abusive and if the higher ups dealt with bullying and problematic staff properly. As a disabled student, I've had a lot of problems with staff in this school.
